Pickleball, an Olympic sport?
That’s it. We’re gonna say it…
This is going to be the biggest year yet for the sport. Yup, you heard it here first. Forget about all the celebrity endorsements and insanely growing number of players, we’re talking about federations and community planning!
In just the first quarter of 2023, our sport was mentioned more than 16,000 times in community planning meetings. We’re not even half way through the year yet folks..
And if you thought that was crazy, get a load of this.
The National Governing Bodies of pickleball in the United States, Canada and Mexico today announced the formation and launch of the Pickleball Federation of the Americas (PFA).
Their purpose you ask?
Well, they’re a non-profit organization with a mission to promote the growth of our sport in North, Central, and South America.
They hope to make pickleball an Olympic sport by organizing international matches and supporting players, coaches, and referees.
Ok folks, you’re probably as excited as we are. Imagine the thrill of watching top players from all around the world competing for gold!
It can’t get better than that.
This weeks beauty 😍
